More hands-on learning.
Less operational rework.
SaluEdu brings together, on the same platform, the teaching clinic and academic monitoring: student appointments receive faculty evaluations, in real time or later, organized for the coordinator in a single patient, professional and class record.
Why higher education institutions are replacing fragmented processes with SaluEdu
The teaching clinic today operates with disconnected pieces: spreadsheets, standalone documents, emails, systems that do not communicate. SaluEdu unifies clinical and educational processes in a single system.
Fragmented control in standalone documents
Evaluations in spreadsheets, Word, email or paper notes. Each professor with their own standard. Coordination without a consolidated view and no auditable trail.
Non-standardized, non-auditable process
Each class with its own rules, decisions via email, appointments without traceability to the evaluation they generated. Hard for regulators, worse for coordination.
Appointment → Evaluation, in the same place
The appointment automatically enters the faculty evaluation flow, in real time if the class requires it, or via the faculty area for later review. All tied to the EHR.
From class to evaluation, the complete cycle
Classes with subject, calendar, students and associated faculty
Set up classes with subject, start and end dates, and linked students and faculty/coordinators. For each class you define which actions require real-time faculty approval: completion, new treatment, progress note, discharge or cancellation.
- →Bulk student enrollment for new classes
- →Granular approval by event type, configured class by class
- →Available assessment methods selectable per class; the professor chooses which to use for each evaluation
Real-time approval, configured event by event
Each coordination has a different policy. In SaluEdu, you decide whether the class requires faculty approval for:
Even with approval disabled, all student appointments remain available for later evaluation — nothing is lost.
Everything the student attended, listed by class
Pending, completed, under evaluation. The professor opens the class, sees the full history and opens any appointment to evaluate, without leaving the EHR.
- →Filter by status (pending / completed / under evaluation)
- →Direct access to the complete appointment EHR
- →Evaluation linked to the clinical record (full traceability)
The student tracks their own progress
Pending evaluations, completed appointments and history in a single view. For the HEI, this means student autonomy, less operational burden on coordination and greater ownership of learning.
- →Complete history of appointments performed
- →Evaluations received and feedback by professor
- →QR Code assessment at the appointment (fast in-person mode)

Your coordination chooses how to assess, class by class
SaluEdu supports the most widely used assessment methods in life sciences and allows combining them.

The gain is not just the faculty's — it's the entire HEI's
Full traceability
Each evaluation is tied to the real appointment, the patient's EHR and the student. Audit, regulatory visits, internal self-assessment — all fully documented.
Process standardization
Same evaluation workflow across all classes and programs at the HEI. Coordination stops managing different spreadsheets for each professor.
Educational quality as an outcome
Student with their own history + structured feedback + configurable supervision. The expected result: fewer gaps in practical training.
Consolidated data for management
Active students, pending feedback, appointments by class — the numbers coordination and leadership need to make curriculum, faculty and capacity decisions.
SaluEdu is not an adapted LMS. It's a module of the EHR.
Most solutions in the Brazilian market are learning platforms that try to connect the clinic via fragile integrations. SaluEdu is built inside SaluGestor, the EHR, scheduling and clinic management system. Same patient database, same professional registry, same audit trail.
Questions coordinators usually ask
Which programs does SaluEdu support today?
We serve life sciences programs such as Dentistry, Psychology and Physiotherapy, among others. The class, appointment and evaluation model is flexible enough to adapt to other health training programs. It's worth a conversation to understand your HEI's context.
Does SaluEdu replace the HEI's academic system (LMS / enrollment)?
No. SaluEdu handles the clinical-practical side of education: classes linked to the teaching clinic, evaluated appointments, faculty supervision. The traditional academic system (enrollment, final grades, official transcript) remains external and is not part of Salutho's solution.
How does faculty approval configuration work?
For each class, coordination defines which actions require real-time faculty approval (appointment completion, new treatment, progress note, discharge or cancellation). Even with approval off, all student appointments remain available in SaluEdu for later evaluation — nothing is lost.
Which assessment methods are supported?
Concept Grade (A/B/C/D), Numeric Grade (0-10), Satisfatória/Insatisfatória, Direct Observation e Feedback and Commentary. Para outras metodologias, consulte a Salutho, avaliamos a viabilidade caso a caso.
How many programs / students does it support simultaneously?
SaluEdu already runs at Brazilian HEIs with multiple simultaneous classes and programs. For larger volumes, we align a capacity plan and phased rollout — talk to our team to size it correctly.
What about LGPD? Is the teaching clinic patient protected?
Because SaluEdu lives inside SaluGestor, patients at the teaching clinic have the same level of protection as any patient seen on the platform. Access is controlled by profile (student, faculty, coordinator, patient) and every action is recorded in an audit log. Details at Security & LGPD.
